DeeZee Truck Bed Auxiliary Tank Installation - 2008 Ford F-450 Super Duty- Video
Today on our 2008 Ford F-450, we're gonna take a look at and also show you how to install the Dee Zee truck bed auxiliary tank. Now to make our installation go a lot easier, we're also gonna be using the Dee Zee connector kit. This is part number DZ97960. Here's what our auxiliary tank's gonna look like once we have it installed in the vehicle. As you can see, the aluminum diamond plate finish gives it a really, really nice look, but it's also gonna keep it corrosion-resistant, not gonna have to worry about rusting and things like that. Now, they've designed this tank to be very effective at what it does, hauling auxiliary fuel for your pickup truck. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2018 Ram 3500, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Dee Zee truck bed auxiliary fuel tank. We will be doing that in conjunction with the Dee Zee connector kit. And since it does tie into our factory fuel tank we can either increase the overall capacity of our truck's fuel system or we can close the valve off and use this as an auxiliary tank. So whether you're using it around the farm or the job site, you can even put a pump in here, it's gonna get both things done. Now, one of the things I really like about this tank is that it's going to be a little more compact than some of the other ones. more

So this one is gloss black but we also have a bright aluminum option if that goes better with your truck. we're gonna have latches on both sides and it's very easy to undo from the side of your truck. And it opens up automatically, I like that, and the gas struts are gonna help with that. But notice on this side we don't have a locking core. more

UWS Truck Bed Toolbox Review - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Right here is the UWS crossover style toolbox, and we're gonna be taking a look at it on my dad's 2013 Chevrolet Silverado. The UWS toolbox comes with a set of keys, so when it's locked, no one's gonna be able to get in it, so all your stuff's gonna stay in there. But then when we unlock it, just like that, it's very, very easy to open it up from the side, and there's only gonna be a lock on the driver's side. Usually I put all my tools in there and then whenever I'm ready to rip, I walk around, lock it up, and then get in the truck and go. So there's only gonna be a locking core on that side, which is totally fine with me. And you can close it from the outside of your truck really easily. more

Today, we're gonna be checking out this UWS Truck Bed Toolbox, it's gonna be a low-profile design with a crossover style as well, and we're putting it on this 2020 Ford F-150. Let's check it out. I wanna explain why I talked about the low-profile design, it's gonna be what the box adds to the top of your truck bed rails, it's gonna be about three inches it's gonna add, and if you look through the back glass of the F-150, you can see it's underneath the seat and the headrest, so it's not gonna impede your view in the rear view mirror at all. Now, for the crossover design, that's gonna be this gap here underneath the box, it means the box doesn't go all the way down to the bed of the truck, so there's room to throw a cargo and slide it in here and still close the tailgate, that way, you don't sacrifice your whole bed by putting a toolbox in there. Now, where this one measures out, it's gonna be about 9 1/2 inches of space there, because we have a bed mat in the truck, so it's taken up a little bit of that space. more

UWS Truck Bed Toolbox Review - 2020 Ford F-150- Video
What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this UWS Toolbox, and that's gonna be a crossover style and low profile, and then we're gonna put it in our 2020 Ford F-150. By the way, I'm gonna explain what I meant by the low profile, it means it's only gonna come up about three inches from your bed rails, which means if you look at the backseat, it's still under the seat and the headrest, so it's not gonna impede your vision in the rear view mirror, and if you look down, crossover style means the toolbox didn't go all the way down to the truck bed, that means you can still fit objects underneath here and close the tailgate, so you don't sacrifice your whole bed by putting a toolbox in. The space down here is gonna be 9 3/4 inches, and now that is with a truck bed mat in there that's taken up quite a bit of space there, so it's gonna take away from that gap, but that's still plenty of room to fit a ladder or some lumber under here and still use your truck bed. We're gonna have two latches, there's gonna be one on the driver's side, one on the passenger's side. The one on the driver's side actually locks up, so you can lock up all your tools when you're not around. more

What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com Today we're gonna be checking out this UWS crossover style deep tool box on our 2013 RAM 2500. Now this is gonna be labeled a deep crossover style toolbox which means there is a little bit of a gap there between the bed and the bottom of the toolbox. It's about four inches from the raised portion of the bed. Now that might work with some lumber or some thinner things to slide under there but as you can see our small utility step ladder didn't quite fit under there. Just want to give you a good idea of how much space you have. Looking at the box you have two latches one on the passenger side, one on the driver's side. more

What's up everybody It's AJ with etriler.com. Today, we're checking out this UWS Crossover Low Profile Toolbox in the back of our 2010 Ford F-250 Super Duty. The toolbox has a nice texture on top, it's gonna be a black powder coat aluminum design, so you know it's gonna hold up just fine against the elements, 'cause it's gonna be in the back of your truck all the time. You have two latches on each side, they're gonna be stainless steel, just pop that, the top opens super easily there, and you can do that from either side. Now, the only side that locks on is gonna be the driver's side, so just push that down, turn the lock, and it can't be accessed, so it's nice that it's on the driver's side, so whenever you're walking over here or getting out of your truck, you can just unlock it really easily on your way. Here, I open up the lid here, so we can take a look at what we got on the inside. more

Today on our 2016 Ford F-250 Super-Duty, we're going to be doing a test fit of the DZ Red Label Truck Bed Toolbox. This is going to be your utility chest style, part number DZ8537. First thing we're going to do is go ahead and drop down our tailgate that way we can get our box into the bed. Should you ever need to lift it out of the bed of your truck when it's got a bunch of stuff in it, it's got 2 sturdy handles on either side that you can lift it out. Go ahead and slide it in and bring it up to the front of your truck. It's going to rest all the way up against the front of the bed of the truck and still be able to get the lid open since it's recessed and sits back as you can see there. It's also going to have this nice, easy assist, hydraulic shock on the inside that's going to help you lift it up and make it a little bit easier. more

DeeZee Low-Profile Crossover Style Toolbox Review - 2015 GMC Sierra 3500- Video
Today in this 2015 GMC Sierra 3500, we're going to show you the DeeZee red label truck bed tool box, part number DZ8170LB. This is what the tool box looks like when it's installed in the truck. As you can see, it sits on the rails, but it does still have a low profile. What I mean by low profile is that this distance from the top to the bottom here, which is a lot shorter than some other boxes. A couple other things, the tool box has a construction that's all aluminum, and in this case, we have a black finish on top of that. We see it has two latches on here, one on each side, so that you can open it from either side of the truck. On the driver's side is the only one that actually has a lock, and it comes with two keys. more

DeeZee Truck Bed Auxiliary Tank Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevy Silverado 3500 CrewCab, we'll be installing the DZ truck-bed auxiliary tank, part number DZ91752X in conjunction with the DZ connector kit of auxiliary tank, part number Dz97960. To begin our install, we'll first go ahead and put our tank into position. We'll be putting it in the truck bed up against the bulk head near the cab. If you are using this tank as an auxiliary to pump into another piece of equipment, you would simply center it in the bed and secure it. However, we'll be using it as a transfer tank. We'll first go ahead and remove the auxiliary tank plug. For this application, we'll be using a large handled shut off valve. A couple of these fittings we're purchased at our local hardware store. more

Du-Ha Humpstor Truck Bed Storage Box Installation - 2014 Ford F-350- Video
Today on this 2014 Ford F350 Super Duty Crew Cab, we're going to install part number, DU 70200, the Duha 00:00:08 Humster 00:00:09 Truck bed Storage Box and Gun Case. First thing we need to do is go ahead and do some assembly for our case. First off, we'll go ahead and put our handle on. It uses stainless steel hardware that go through the handle and through the holes of the lid. We open up the lid and on the backside here, we'll install a flat washer and lock nut. We get a 3/8 wrench and we use the provided tool on the other side to tighten it down. Next we'll go ahead and assemble our brackets that will connect to the bed of the truck and hold up the box. We're going to take one side, lay it down, and then this pad will go towards the inside edge of the box with a flange nut. more

It features aluminum construction with fully welded seams and is guaranteed not to rust. Heavy duty stainless steel latches on both sides will lock on drivers side. The patented foam filled lid provides installation and protection from the elements. Heavy duty gas cylinders help to lift the lid and hold it open at a full 90 degrees. UWS Wedge Toolbox Review - 2003 Dodge Ram- Video
Today, on this 2003 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 Series with the 8-foot bed were going to do a test fit of part number uws01048 from UWS. This is our truck bed chest. All right, a couple of things to know about this tool box is that it is a wedge series, so the bottom is a little bit narrower over in the top. The lid is also offset; the offset lid allows you to push the box all the way up to the front of a truck, so you can still open the lid without hitting the truck itself. Dimension of this box are 62 inches long by 20 inches wide and 17 inches deep. It is all aluminum construction. more

UWS Crossover Toolbox Review - 2005 GMC Sierra- Video
Today on our 2005 GMC Sierra, we'll be installing the UWS Truck Bed Toolbox, the Narrow Crossover Style, part number UWS00161. Note that this toolbox is 69 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 9-1/4 inches deep for a total of 3.7 cubic feet. It will stand at approximately 2 inches above the height of the bed rail on your truck bed. Now, let's go ahead and install the box. We'll set it up against the bulk end and even it out side to side. Now that we have a good idea where our truck box is going to sit, we're going to go ahead and turn it over and install the foam strips to protect the paint between the box and bed. more

UWS Crossover Toolbox Review - 2008 Dodge Ram- Video
Today on this 2008 Dodge Ram pickup were going to do a test fit of part number UWS06208. This is a low profile deep truck bed toolbox. A few things to know about this took is that its a crossover, saddle style toolbox that hangs from the truck bed rails. It has a full aluminum construction with fully welded seams. This version has a black powder coating to it. The locks for the lids are two large stainless steel twist style handles and the lock is on the drivers side. more

UWS ProGrade Crossover Toolbox Review - 2000 Ford F-350- Video
Today were going to install part number UWS 07300. This is their Truck Bed Tool Box Extra Wide Crossover Style part of their Pro Series. To start off our install well go ahead and take the foam strips and attach them to the bottom side of the box. Well go ahead and clean out the bottom of the box with some rubbing alcohol and then attach the film strips. Well stay about 3/4-inch in from the edge of the box and well start from one end and work our way down. Now the strip is long enough so well go ahead and trim off our next strip to fill up the gap. more

UWS Transfer Tank and Toolbox Chest Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevy Silverado well be test fitting the UWS Toolbox Tank Combo part number UWS06022. This combination fuel tank and storage box is designed to sit inside the frame rails of the pickup bed. After we set it into position, well go ahead and use our tape measure to center it up. Now that we have our toolbox where we want it, itll be a good time to go ahead and anchor it down using the three tabs provided one in the center towards the rear of the vehicle and one on each side. Note that after we centered up our toolbox, we have 7 inches between the toolbox and the bedrail on each side. The toolbox itself is 27 inches deep and its current configuration sits approximately 6 inches above the bedrail at its highest point. more

TruXedo TonneauMate Toolbox Installation - 2011 Chevy Silverado- Video
Today on this 2011 Chevy Silverado we are going to install part number TX1117416-458 from TruXedo. This is TruXedos TonneauMate truck bed toolbox. And this part number also contains a special clamp kit for GM trucks that come with the cargo management systems. First off, this is what the toolbox looks like when installed on the vehicle. And next we will show you the rail system that gets clamped on. You can see how the rail system attaches to the truck bed itself and how it does not interfere with the factory cargo system. As shown here, we have the driver side installed. And we will go ahead and show you how to install the passenger side. The first thing we need to do is loosen up the factory cargo system. In the corner towards the cab there is a plastic cover that has to be removed so we can loosen up the rail. Let us go ahead and do that first. And there are three bolts: one, two and there is our third bolt. So what we will do is go ahead and loosen all of these bolts. We will not remove them because we do not want to lose the assembly that is behind the sheet metal of the bed. Back all of these about an inch on all three of them. Then you can pull the rail back and you can see how much bolt you have left over on the inside. So here you can see the bolt where it goes into the assembly that holds everything together. Just keep loosening it up until you barely have one or two threads showing. That will give us plenty of room to work around it. And these are all three identical on the rail. 1:23 more
